OVERVIEW: 350 attendants. Sponsored by H.I.S. Tour Japan and organized by Assumption University of Thailand, the forum aimed to bring academics, tourism scholars and industry leaders together to explore the issue of linguistic diversity in the Thai tourism. It featured former Prime Minister of Thailand Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva and Professor Ingrid Piller of Macquarie University, Australia, as keynote speakers.
MY ROLE Multimedia management and production including: conference live online video streaming, web pages design & updates, printing materials, photography, search engine optimization and social media updates.

Japanese on the Move: Life Stories of Transmigration

OVERVIEW: Organized by Macquarie University – Faculty of Human Sciences
Australian Government – Australia-Japan Foundation. Japanese on the Move is a multimedia project, consisting of 50 video interviews of individuals who share their experiences. Each of them has a unique connection to Japan and Australia and they all have a story to tell. Video-interviewed by Ingrid Piller and Kimie Takahashi.
MY ROLE: Multimedia management and production including: 50 video interview recordings with Japanese subtitles, DVD production, web pages design & updates, printing materials, photography, SEO and social media updates.

Workshop on Linguistic Diversity & Social Inclusion

OVERVIEW: Organized by Macquarie University – Faculty of Human Sciences. Workshop to highlight the intersection between linguistic diversity (as language proficiency, language practices and language ideologies) and social inclusion (employment, education, health, information etc.) in Australia.
